After being saved by Varaha, Bhudevi, the goddess of the Earth, was filled with gratitude but also curiosity. She turned to Varaha and asked, “Lord, now that you have saved me from the depths, I wish to understand the secrets of creation and the purpose of existence. What is the essence of life, and how should I guide the beings that reside on me?”

Varaha, now in his divine form, stood tall and serene. He smiled and spoke, “O Bhudevi, the universe is a grand cycle of creation, preservation, and dissolution. All beings come into existence with a purpose, and they must follow their dharma—their righteous duty. The path of dharma is one of balance, compassion, and truth. Those who walk it will find peace and fulfillment. In this vast creation, everything is interconnected. Just as I lifted you from the ocean’s depths, the righteous must uplift the world through their deeds.”

Varaha’s words echoed with wisdom, and Bhudevi understood that her role was to support life, maintain harmony, and inspire her inhabitants to live in accordance with dharma.

Moral: Knowledge and wisdom are the true paths to understanding life’s purpose. By following one’s righteous duty, one contributes to the balance and well-being of the world.
