A deer and his wife, the doe, often quarreled, leaving the deer frustrated and upset. One day, after a particularly heated argument, the doe decided to leave her home. She sought refuge in the jungle and soon started living with another deer.

One afternoon, as the doe and the new deer rested in a cave, they heard the terrifying roar of a lion echoing nearby. The doe panicked and asked, “What shall we do now? The lion will surely kill us both!”

The other deer, unmoved, replied coldly, “I’m going my way. You’re on your own.”

Shocked by his indifference, the doe suddenly remembered her husband’s bravery and devotion. She thought of how he had always stood by her and saved her from countless dangers. Realizing her mistake, she fled from the back of the cave and hurried home.

When she finally reached her husband, he was overjoyed to see her safe and sound. Overwhelmed with emotion, the doe apologized for her behavior and promised to cherish their bond and respect him from then on.

Moral of the Story:
True relationships are tested in times of crisis, and it’s never too late to realize the value of someone who genuinely cares for you.
