One day, as the sun bathed the meadow in golden light, a proud peacock strutted around, showing off his vibrant, colorful feathers. As he paraded about, he noticed a crane nearby, standing quietly by the water.

The peacock, feeling superior because of his dazzling plumage, walked over to the crane and said, “I feel sorry for you. Your feathers are so dull and colorless compared to mine. Just look at the beauty of my feathers!”

The crane, who had been calmly observing the peacock, responded with quiet grace, “Yes, your feathers are certainly more colorful than mine, but I have the ability to fly high up into the sky, soaring freely wherever I choose. You, on the other hand, can only strut around on the ground, admiring your feathers.”

The peacock was taken aback, realizing that while his feathers were beautiful, the crane possessed a far greater freedom.

Moral of the story: Never find fault with others, for everyone has their own unique strengths and qualities. True value lies in recognizing and appreciating what others can do, rather than comparing their weaknesses to your own strengths.
