Once upon a time, in a land of breathtaking beauty and unbroken peace, there existed a prosperous realm known as the Kingdom of Serora. The people of Serora lived in harmony, untouched by war or strife. The skies were always bright, the rivers clear, and laughter echoed through the streets. Yet, within this paradise, a secret lay hidden—one known only to the King and Queen.

Concealed deep within the palace was a sparkling enchanted door, shimmering with magic. This door was a portal to a mystical forest teeming with magical beings—fairies, trolls, pixies, and among them, one of dark repute: Gwyneth Hunt, a vengeful and wicked witch.

A century earlier, Gwyneth had once ruled Serora as its queen, but her cruel, selfish ways drove her people to rebel. They banished her to the depths of the enchanted forest, sealing her behind the magical door. There, she built a towering black castle and swore vengeance on the royal family that replaced her.

The Kidnapping of Princess Rose

In the palace, the royal couple was blessed with a precious daughter named Princess Rose, a beautiful child with flowing black silky hair and deep sapphire-blue eyes. She was just two years old, full of laughter and innocence, bringing joy to the entire kingdom.

But one ill-fated night, as the King and Queen doted on their child, an unforeseen calamity struck. Gwyneth, who had long waited in the shadows, found a way to breach the magical door. Using her dark magic, she stormed into the castle. The King and Queen fought bravely to shield their daughter, but Gwyneth’s magic was too strong. She cast a spell that pulled little Rose towards her like an invisible chain. In an instant, the witch vanished into the night, taking the princess with her.

The entire kingdom plunged into despair. Soldiers scoured every corner of Serora, but the princess was nowhere to be found. Years passed, and though the King and Queen never gave up hope, Rose remained lost beyond the enchanted door.

Life in Captivity

Thirteen long years passed, and Rose grew into a radiant fifteen-year-old, but her life was far from royal. She lived in the witch’s gloomy castle, treated not as a princess but as a servant. Gwyneth forced Rose to clean, cook, and toil endlessly, feeding her nothing but scraps.

Rose remembered faint fragments of her past—a castle, a crown—but they felt like fading dreams. One day, while the witch was away gathering herbs, Rose wandered into the forest surrounding the castle. As she walked, a tiny sparkling light caught her eye. She chased after it, and to her astonishment, the light turned into a tiny, glowing fairy with sleek black hair and twinkling wings.

“Who are you?” Rose asked in awe.

“I am Leona,” the fairy replied kindly, “I live in this enchanted forest with my kin. But who are you? How did a human girl end up here?”

At that moment, Rose’s memories came rushing back—her parents, her kingdom, the fateful night she was taken. She told Leona everything, from her kidnapping to the witch’s cruelty.

Determined to help, Leona promised,
“You don’t belong here, Princess Rose. I will help you find your way home.”

The Escape from the Forest

The next day, Rose met Leona again in the same spot. The fairy guided her on which paths to follow through the dense woods, explaining that she would find the sparkling door if she headed east and looked for the trees that shimmered.

Leona warned,
“When you find the door, knock three times. Only then will it open. But beware, the witch may sense your escape.”

With courage in her heart, Rose journeyed through the forest. As the trees began to glimmer, she knew she was close. Hours later, she stood before the enchanted door. Just as she knocked three times, she felt a shadow loom behind her—it was Gwyneth!

“You will never escape me, girl!” the witch hissed.

But Rose didn’t hesitate. She dashed through the door just as it creaked open, slamming it behind her. She quickly found a sturdy rope nearby and tied the handles together, trapping Gwyneth within the magical realm.

Homecoming and Justice

After years of captivity, Rose walked the path back to her palace. When the guards saw her, they couldn’t believe their eyes. They rushed to inform the King and Queen, who came running. The Queen burst into tears of joy, embracing her long-lost daughter tightly.

Through tears, they asked her where she had been. Rose recounted everything—the witch, the forest, the fairy Leona, and her daring escape.

When the King heard that Gwyneth was still alive, he immediately dispatched his soldiers to the enchanted door. With Rose’s guidance, they captured the witch from her black castle and brought her back to the kingdom in chains.

Standing before the people of Serora, Gwyneth begged for mercy, but the King, remembering her vile deeds, declared,
“There is no forgiveness for the one who steals our joy and harms the innocent.”

By royal decree, Gwyneth was executed publicly, ensuring she could never threaten the kingdom again. Her black castle was destroyed, and the enchanted door was sealed forever.

Happily Ever After

With the witch gone, peace returned to Serora. Rose, now reunited with her family, vowed never to fear again. She often visited the gardens where she planted roses—her namesake—as a symbol of hope and resilience.

The people rejoiced, the Queen smiled once more, and the Kingdom of Serora flourished in happiness and safety.

And thus, the princess who was once kidnapped found her way home, thanks to her courage and the kindness of a little fairy.

Moral of the Story:

No matter how dark the times may seem, courage, hope, and the kindness of others can guide you home.
