Once upon a time, in the kingdom of Vidarbha, there lived a beautiful and noble princess named Rukmini, daughter of King Bhishmaka. Rukmini’s heart belonged to Lord Krishna, the wise and valiant prince of Dwaraka. She had heard tales of Krishna’s valor and kindness and knew deep within that he was her destined one. Her love for him grew so strong that life itself seemed meaningless without him.

However, Rukmini’s brother had different plans. He wished to marry her off to Shishupala, a prince she did not love. Overcome with despair, Rukmini decided to take matters into her own hands. She rushed to her chamber, wrote a heartfelt letter to Krishna, and poured her soul into it. She described her love for him and her wish to marry him. She also explained her brother’s intentions and begged Krishna to come to Vidarbha and take her away before the marriage could take place.

Trusting only one person with this secret mission, Rukmini summoned her loyal servant, an elderly man named Sunanda. She handed him the letter, urging him to reach Krishna without delay.

With deep respect, Sunanda took the letter and set off for Dwaraka, carrying Rukmini’s message of love and hope across the lands.

**Moral:** True love is brave and unafraid to seek its destiny, even in the face of obstacles and opposition.
