Armed with the knowledge of Sita’s location, Rama, along with his brother Lakshmana and the army of Vanaras, prepared to wage war on Ravana. To reach Lanka, they built a massive bridge across the ocean, known as the Ram Setu.

Upon crossing the ocean, Rama’s forces stormed the shores of Lanka, engaging Ravana’s army in a fierce and bloody battle. One by one, Ravana’s generals and his powerful sons, including the mighty Indrajit, were slain by Rama and his allies. Even Lakshmana was gravely injured, but Hanuman, in an act of heroism, flew to the Himalayas to bring back the life-saving Sanjeevani herb, restoring Lakshmana to health.

Finally, Rama and Ravana faced each other in single combat. Ravana, with his ten heads and immense strength, was a fearsome opponent, but Rama’s righteousness and divine power were stronger. With his bow and the divine weapon Brahmastra, Rama struck Ravana down, ending the demon king’s reign of terror.

Sita was finally freed, and Lanka was left in the hands of Ravana’s noble brother Vibhishana, who had allied with Rama.

Moral: No matter how powerful evil may seem, righteousness and justice will always prevail in the end.
