During their years of exile, the Pandavas faced many hardships, including food scarcity. Recognizing their struggle, the Sun God gifted Yudhishthira a special bowl, called the Akshaya Patra. This magical bowl had the power to provide an unlimited supply of food, but with one condition: it would only produce food until Draupadi, the Pandavas’ wife, had eaten for the day. After that, it would remain empty until the following day.

One day, Sage Durvasa and his disciples arrived unexpectedly at the Pandavas’ hut while they were wandering through the forest. Known for his unpredictable temper, the sage requested food for himself and his followers. Unfortunately, Draupadi had already eaten, and she knew that the bowl would not yield any more food that day. Feeling helpless and anxious about how to provide for the sage, she turned to Krishna for guidance.

When Krishna arrived, Draupadi explained her predicament. To her surprise, Krishna simply smiled and asked for a small piece of food, however insignificant, to satisfy his hunger. Draupadi, bewildered by the simplicity of his request, managed to find a single grain of rice left in the bowl and offered it to Krishna with faith and humility.

As Krishna accepted the single grain, a miracle occurred. The sage Durvasa and his disciples felt completely satisfied, as if they had enjoyed a grand feast. Filled with contentment, they departed without asking for more food, leaving the Pandavas in peace.

**Moral:** True faith and gratitude can create miracles, even in the most challenging circumstances. When we offer our best, however small, with sincerity and faith, it has the power to multiply and satisfy far beyond our expectations.
