Meghnad, the valiant son of Ravana, had mastered powerful techniques of warfare and was gifted the deadly Brahmastra, a divine weapon from Lord Brahma. Angered by the havoc Hanuman had caused in Lanka, Meghnad decided to use the Brahmastra against him.

When Meghnad confronted Hanuman, he unleashed a volley of arrows. But Hanuman, with his divine strength and resilience, shattered each one effortlessly. Realizing that his usual arsenal was ineffective, Meghnad decided to use the Brahmastra, the ultimate weapon capable of subduing even the most powerful beings.

As the Brahmastra struck Hanuman, it coiled around him, binding him. However, Hanuman remained unafraid, knowing that Lord Brahma had granted him immunity from the weapon’s effects for a limited time. He chose not to break free immediately, as he wanted to respect the sanctity of the Brahmastra.

Seeing Hanuman bound, Ravana’s soldiers, unaware of the Brahmastra’s conditions, rushed to capture him. The moment they touched him, the Brahmastra lost its power, and Hanuman began to revive. Meghnad, aware that every second counted, quickly ordered the soldiers to tie up Hanuman with regular ropes and drag him to Ravana’s court.

Thus, Hanuman allowed himself to be brought to Ravana, knowing that his mission in Lanka was far from over. His unwavering courage and faith in his divine purpose shone brightly, undeterred by the power of any weapon or adversary.

**Moral:** True strength lies in courage, faith, and resilience. Hanuman’s encounter with Meghnad teaches us that when we remain steadfast in our purpose, no force, however powerful, can deter us. Faith in oneself and one’s mission provides the resilience to face any challenge.
