The Deceitful Wolf: A Tale of Loyalty and Betrayal
Once upon a time, a group of dogs was guarding a flock of sheep when a wolf appeared nearby. The dogs immediately barked to warn him off, and the wolf hesitated to come closer.
However, the wolf was cunning. He approached the dogs and said, “Why do we fight? We are so similar—part of the same family. The only difference is that we wolves live free while you serve a master. Let’s put our enmity aside and become friends.”
The dogs hesitated but eventually agreed, nodding to one another. Seeing his plan succeeding, the wolf continued, “Come with me to the forest. My pack will welcome you warmly, and you’ll experience true freedom.”
Falling for his deceitful words, the dogs abandoned their duty and followed the wolf to a dark den where the wolf’s pack was waiting. No sooner had the dogs entered than the wolves attacked them and tore them apart.
With the dogs gone, the wolves headed to the pasture where the sheep were grazing. Left unguarded, the entire flock fell prey to the wolves, who killed and devoured them.
Moral: Betraying your trust and duties leads to disastrous consequences.
