Once upon a time, there was a large pool of water near a village, teeming with frogs. Every evening, the children of the village would gather near the pool to play and have fun.

One day, as the children played, one of the boys noticed some frogs swimming in the shallow water. Amused by the sight, he called his friends over and said, “What a fun game this will be! Let’s pelt stones at the frogs, and watch them scatter in fear!”

Excited by the idea, the boys began throwing stones at the frogs, laughing as they did so. The poor frogs hopped desperately to escape, but many were struck and died. The boys, seeing the frogs lying lifeless, laughed even louder, finding joy in their suffering.

After a while, one brave frog managed to poke its head above the water and cried out, “Please, stop! You don’t realize that your cruel game means death for us!”

Hearing the frog’s plea, the boys were struck with guilt and hurriedly ran away, realizing the harm they had caused.

Moral of the story: Cruel fun is no fun at all. What may seem like a harmless game to some can cause great harm to others. Treat all living creatures with kindness and compassion.
