Sage Narada, known for his wisdom and curiosity, was a great devotee of the gods and often wandered across the heavens, earth, and beyond, seeking knowledge. Despite all the divine secrets he had learned, one mystery eluded him—the truth behind the creation of the universe. Who or what was responsible for the vast cycles of creation, preservation, and destruction that governed existence?

Narada sought the answers from many of the gods and goddesses. He approached Brahma, the creator, but Brahma explained that his role was only to create what already existed in potential form. He went to Vishnu, the preserver, but Vishnu told him that his duty was to maintain the universe, not to explain its origin. Finally, Narada sought Shiva, the destroyer, but Shiva too said that while he dissolved the universe at the end of time, the true source of creation was beyond even his understanding.

Frustrated and humbled by his journey, Narada realized that none of the gods could provide the complete answer. He turned inward, meditating deeply and seeking guidance from a higher power. After many days of intense prayer and meditation, Narada decided to direct his devotion to Goddess Bhuvaneshwari, the cosmic queen who ruled over all the gods and the universe.

Narada sat by a quiet riverbank and began to chant her name, “Om Bhuvaneshwari Mata,” focusing his mind and heart on the divine mother of the cosmos. His prayers were sincere, filled with the deep longing to know the truth of the universe. Days passed, but Narada did not give up. He fasted, meditated, and surrendered his ego, offering himself entirely to Bhuvaneshwari.

Moved by his devotion, Bhuvaneshwari appeared before Narada in her radiant form. Her beauty was beyond words, her aura enveloping the entire sky in a golden glow. She smiled upon the sage, her eyes full of compassion and wisdom.

“Narada,” she said, her voice like the music of the heavens, “you seek the truth behind the universe’s creation, preservation, and destruction. You have asked the gods, but they could not give you the full answer because the truth lies beyond them. I am the cosmic force that governs these cycles, the power behind all that exists. I am the one who controls the flow of time, the dance of the elements, and the rhythm of life and death.”

Narada, overwhelmed by her presence, bowed before her. “Divine Mother,” he said, “I beg you to grant me the vision to understand this truth, so that I may share it with the world.”

Bhuvaneshwari, moved by his sincere request, placed her hand on Narada’s head. In an instant, Narada’s mind was filled with a divine vision. He saw the universe in its entirety—the vast galaxies, the stars, the planets, and all the living beings. He saw how everything moved in perfect harmony, guided by an unseen force. He witnessed the creation of the universe from the cosmic womb of Bhuvaneshwari, how life emerged, flourished, and eventually dissolved, only to be reborn again in an endless cycle.

Narada realized that Bhuvaneshwari was not only the creator but also the sustainer and destroyer of the universe. She was the energy behind Brahma’s creation, Vishnu’s preservation, and Shiva’s destruction. The gods were merely manifestations of her will, carrying out their duties in the grand cosmic cycle that she controlled.

Through this vision, Narada understood that Bhuvaneshwari was the ultimate force, the cosmic mother who held all of existence within her. She was beyond time and space, beyond form and formlessness. It was her energy that flowed through all things, maintaining the delicate balance of the universe.

As the vision ended, Narada opened his eyes, filled with a new sense of wonder and humility. He had finally learned the truth—that Bhuvaneshwari was the source of all creation, and that everything in the universe was interconnected through her divine energy.

With deep gratitude, Narada bowed once again to the goddess. “Mother,” he said, “you have shown me the truth. I now understand that you are the ultimate force behind all that exists. I will carry this knowledge with me and share it with the world.”

Bhuvaneshwari smiled, her radiant form glowing with warmth and love. “Go, Narada,” she said, “and let the world know that everything is connected through the cycles of creation, preservation, and dissolution. Those who seek the truth must turn inward and understand that I, as the cosmic mother, reside within all things.”

With those final words, Bhuvaneshwari disappeared, leaving Narada with a deep sense of peace and understanding. He returned to the heavens, ready to share the profound wisdom he had gained from the cosmic queen.
