Bahlool and the Thief

One day, Bahlool was wearing new shoes when he entered a mosque to pray. He noticed a man eyeing his shoes, clearly planning to steal them. To prevent the theft, Bahlool decided to pray while wearing his shoes. The thief, seeing this, remarked, “You can’t pray with shoes on.”

Bahlool replied, “If I can’t pray with shoes, at least I have shoes!”
