A man said to Bahlool, “I have a powerful enemy whom I cannot defeat. What should I do?” Bahlool replied, “Leave it to others.” The man asked, “How?” Bahlool responded, “Show him to others, so they can see him for themselves.” The next day, in a busy market, the man pointed out his enemy to Bahlool. Bahlool then shouted loudly to the people, “O people! This man says that justice and kindness have disappeared among you non-believers, and you are now busy robbing God’s servants. What do you say about this?” Upon hearing this, the shopkeepers rushed at the man and gave him a good beating. Bahlool remarked, “As long as you have such servants, you need not fear any enemy.”

This story humorously shows how Bahlool uses the people’s quick reaction to turn the tables on the man’s powerful enemy, showing that sometimes using the community’s force can be a clever strategy.
