Bahlool and the Seven-Year-Old Vinegar

A sick man approached Bahlool and asked for seven-year-old vinegar to cure his illness.

Bahlool replied, “I have seven-year-old vinegar, but I won’t give it to anyone.”

The sick man asked, “Why won’t you give it to me?”

Bahlool said, “If I intended to give it away, it wouldn’t have lasted seven years!”
