Cat Misunderstands Elephant’s Call and Thinks City is Just a Minute Away

One fine day, a curious cat decided it was finally time to visit the city. She had heard so much about the hustle and bustle, and frankly, she was tired of living the quiet life of chasing mice and napping. But first, she needed to know: How long would the journey take?

Naturally, who else could answer such an important question but Mr. Elephant, the city expert and walking GPS? After all, he had trunks full of knowledge and knew the lay of the land!

The cat dialed him up and asked, “Hello, Mr. Elephant! How long does it take to reach the city?”

Just as the elephant was about to share his city wisdom, another call beeped in. With the kind of politeness only an elephant could muster, he said, “Hold on a sec, let me check this other call.”

Without thinking twice, the cat, clearly too excited to wait, immediately hung up the phone, her eyes wide with excitement. “A minute? Only a minute to get to the city? That’s fantastic!” she purred, already packing her bags for her big adventure.

So off she went, full of confidence, completely oblivious that the elephant was still on the other line, probably trying to figure out how to make sense of her confusion.
