Selling a House with a Brick? Hilarious Real Estate Fail
Robert had been trying to sell his house for what felt like an eternity. Every time someone came by to take a look, they’d politely smile and walk away, no offer in sight. It was like he was trying to sell a haunted mansion — with no ghosts.
After countless failed attempts, Robert suddenly had a lightbulb moment — a flash of brilliance that could only be described as “questionable genius.”
In the middle of the living room, he casually pulled a brick out of the wall.
His wife, who was folding laundry and minding her own business, looked up, horrified. “What on earth are you doing?” she asked, her voice a mix of confusion and concern.
Robert, with the smug satisfaction of a man who had just solved the world’s problems, turned to her and said, “You just don’t get it, do you? This is the key to selling the house! I’ve never shown anyone a sample of the house! Now, I’m giving the potential buyer this brick as a sample of the house’s quality. It’s genius!”
His wife stared at him as if he’d just declared he was going to sell the house by putting a “For Sale” sign on a llama. “You think a brick is a sample? You’re about as helpful as a broken lightbulb, Robert. Maybe you should be part of the house sale too — as a free bonus, like a novelty garden gnome!”
