Disunity Invites Enemies
Once upon a time, a frog lived happily in a marsh, and nearby, a mouse made its home in a hole. They were the best of friends, sharing the peaceful land around them. But one day, a dispute arose between them. Both the frog and the mouse claimed ownership of the marsh, and neither would back down.
The frog, being stronger, felt confident that he was the rightful owner. But the mouse, clever as he was, used his wits to attack the frog. Hiding in the grass, he launched surprise strikes, injuring the frog and causing him great pain.
The frog, determined to end the argument, decided to challenge the mouse to a direct fight. Without hesitation, the mouse accepted. Both of them armed themselves with sharp reeds, using them as spears, each certain of their victory.
As they prepared to clash, a hawk flew overhead. Seeing the two animals ready to fight, the hawk swooped down from the sky, grabbed them both in her claws, and carried them away to feed her hungry chicks.
Moral of the story: Disunity invites enemies. When we fight among ourselves, we become vulnerable to greater threats. Unity is strength.
