The Mischief of Lord Mars
Once, a couple was traveling through a forest when Lord Mangal (Mars), known for his mischievous nature, spotted them. Enchanted by the beauty of the wife, he decided to play a trick. Using his divine powers, he transformed himself to look exactly like the husband and approached the wife, hoping to deceive her.
The real husband, seeing an imposter who looked exactly like him, confronted Lord Mars, and the two began to argue fiercely over who was the true husband. The commotion drew the attention of nearby villagers, who gathered around but were unable to tell who the real husband was, as the two men looked identical.
One clever villager, however, realized that something supernatural was at play. He suspected that one of the men had used magical powers to take the form of the husband. Thinking quickly, he devised a plan to reveal the truth.
The villager brought out a small clay pot with a narrow spout and declared, “Only the real husband will be able to enter this pot through the spout. Let this be the test to prove who is genuine!”
The real husband, knowing he couldn’t change his form, protested, saying it was an impossible and unfair test. But Lord Mars, eager to prove his point and confident in his abilities, transformed himself into a tiny shape and slipped effortlessly through the narrow spout into the pot.
Once inside, the clever villager quickly sealed the pot, trapping Lord Mars within it. With the imposter contained, the villagers and the real husband thanked the wise villager for his quick thinking.
Lord Mars, realizing that his mischief had backfired, accepted his defeat. He returned to his original form and acknowledged his error, promising not to trouble the couple again. The husband and wife continued their journey safely, grateful for the clever villager who had saved them from the imposter’s trickery.

**Moral:** The story of Lord Mars and the clever villager teaches us that quick thinking and wisdom can expose deceit and prevent harm. It also reminds us that even powerful beings can be humbled when they misuse their abilities for selfish reasons.
